The Country Club

The Eggs Benedict at The Country Club in Costa Mesa off 17th street is among the best I've ever had and is a must try. The poach was delicate and the yolk was perfect. While all of the flavors stood out, they didn't fight with each other, it was more like a symphony playing well together but still allowing you to hear the instruments. I really like the inclusion of mashed avocado that adds a buttery richness I've never experienced in a Benny and the braised bacon is almost like a smokey pulled pork.
